The MESH Incubator is a systems-integrated healthcare innovation center at Mass General Brigham and Harvard Medical School. Established in 2016 by Marc Succi, MD, MESH has supported thousands of clinicians, researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and students in turning frontline clinical needs into practical healthcare solutions, intellectual property, research, and new companies.
MESH delivers its official healthcare innovation curriculum through MESH Core™, an award-winning Healthcare Innovation Bootcamp. Developed inside Massachusetts General Hospital in 2018, MESH Core was taught to physicians and faculty across the hospital system for six years before opening to the public in 2024. Today, it serves as a practical, high-yield certificate course and conference for clinicians, researchers, founders, students, executives, and healthcare builders who want to understand how healthcare innovation actually works.
Delivered in Boston, one of the world’s leading biomedical innovation hubs, MESH Core brings participants together for an intensive, hands-on experience featuring lectures, case-based learning, panels, startup pitches, networking, and access to leaders across Harvard, Mass General Brigham, and industry. The curriculum covers core innovation domains including intellectual property, prototyping, artificial intelligence, digital health, commercialization, venture funding, company creation, and healthcare product development.
Beyond Boston, MESH has extended its reach worldwide, with programs delivered on the ground in regions including the Middle East and North Africa, United Arab Emirates, and beyond. Through both in-person programming and online access through the Innovation MESH Network, MESH Core has helped educate thousands of physician and research innovators across medical specialties, giving participants a shared foundation, vocabulary, and practical toolkit to move healthcare ideas from insight to impact.
At its core, MESH is built to help healthcare innovators move ideas from clinical insight to real-world impact, always keeping patients at the center of the design and implementation process.
